On 1 June 2017 Monimex Ltd. signed contract No. BG05M9OP001-1.008-0104-C01 with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy for the project “Improving occupational safety at Monimex”, under the “GOOD AND SAFE WORKING CONDITIONS” procedure BG05M9OP001-1.008 of Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2014–2020.
The project improves working conditions and occupational safety at Monimex Ltd. through several main activities. One is the purchase of a specialised human resources management information system with a range of functions the company needs. The project also provides 9 modern mobile site containers for staff to use for rest, meals and sport on different sites in all seasons, as well as the purchase of the safety equipment recommended in the company’s risk assessment and risk-minimisation programme — fall protection for work at height and “barrier”-type equipment for excavation works.
The project also introduces innovative models of human resources management and measures to extend the working life of employees, in particular of 2 people over the age of 54, to be applied and put into operation within the project period. Access to the workplace will also be improved for one employee with a disability.
The total value of the project is EUR 76,916.71 (BGN 150,436.00), of which EUR 65,379.20 is European funding and EUR 11,537.51 is national co-financing.
