This policy sets out what personal data monimex.bg collects, what it is used for, who it is shared with and what rights you have. It describes this website and nothing more.

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is:

Monimex Ltd.
Company number (ЕИК) 831768842
33 Ami Bue Street, Sofia, Bulgaria
Telephone: +359 2 917 20 88
Email: office@monimex.bg

For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to office@monimex.bg.

2. What we collect, why, and for how long

2.1. The contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form we process what you enter: your name, email address, subject and the text of the message.

  • Purpose: to read and answer your enquiry.
  • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in replying to someone who has contacted us. Where the enquiry concerns buying a property, Article 6(1)(b) also applies — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Where it goes: the message is emailed to office@monimex.bg and to a member of staff. It is not stored in the website’s database.
  • Retention: 12 months from receipt of the message, after which the correspondence is deleted. If an enquiry leads to a contractual relationship, the correspondence relating to it is kept for as long as the documents in question require.

2.2. Server logs

The web server automatically records every request to the site: IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser type and referring page. This happens on every visit to every website and is not something we switch on.

  • Purpose: site security, detecting and stopping abuse, and aggregate traffic statistics.
  • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
  • Retention: the raw logs cover the current calendar month and are cleared on its last day. Separately, the hosting account keeps monthly aggregate statistics (AWStats). The visitor-level entries in those, including the IP address, are deleted automatically after 12 months; what remains is the aggregate figures alone — visits, pages, traffic sources and the like, with nothing by which a visitor could be identified.

2.3. Visit statistics

We use Umami, a web analytics tool that sets no cookies and creates no lasting identifier for a visitor. It records the page visited and its title, the referring page, country, device type, browser and language, and interaction events — for example which building and which unit was opened in the Sales section.

  • Purpose: to understand which pages and which units are of interest, and to improve the site.
  • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest.
  • Scope: the data is aggregate. No readable IP address is stored and no profile is built that could identify you or follow you across websites.

3. Cookies

The site sets one single cookie for visitors:

Name Purpose Lifetime
pll_language Remembers the language you chose — Bulgarian or English 12 months

It is strictly necessary for a function you asked for yourself (your choice of language), so it requires no consent and the site carries no cookie banner. We use no advertising, profiling or tracking cookies and pass no data to advertising networks.

Signing in to the site’s administration — possible for staff only — causes WordPress to set further cookies to maintain the session.

4. Who the data is shared with

We do not sell or rent personal data. It is accessible only to:

  • SuperHosting.BG Ltd. — hosting for the website and the email; the servers are in Bulgaria.
  • Umami Software, Inc. — processes the visit statistics. The account is in the European region and the data is processed in the European Union.
  • Public authorities, where the law obliges us to provide information.

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Union.

5. Your rights

In relation to your personal data you have the right to:

  • access — confirmation of whether we process your data, and a copy of it;
  • rectification — correction of inaccurate data, or completion of incomplete data;
  • erasure — deletion of your data where there is no ground for us to keep it;
  • restriction of processing;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • portability — to receive your data in a machine-readable form;
  • withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these, write to office@monimex.bg. We reply within one month of receiving the request.

6. Right to complain

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with:

Commission for Personal Data Protection
2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, Bulgaria
Telephone: +359 2 915 3 518
Email: kzld@cpdp.bg · www.cpdp.bg

You also have the right to bring the matter before a court.

7. Children

The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 14.

8. Automated decision-making

We carry out no automated decision-making and build no profiles from your data.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
